Forsyth joins BBC Worldwide Channels
LONDON -- BBC Worldwide Channels has signalled its readiness to produce more original content by recruiting an professional towards the recently produced role of vice prexy, commissioning. She's Tracy Forsyth, who'll join Worldwide from British pay TV provider UKTV in The month of january. Confirming to David Weiland, senior vice prexy, programming and Television channels, Forsyth will oversee the commissioning and co-manufacture of programs for BBC Understanding, BBC Entertainment, BBC Lifestyle, BBC HD and United kingdom.TV, BBC Worldwide's general entertainment funnel in OZ and Nz. Role calls for dealing with independent producers within the U.K. and worldwide, along with the BBC's own production departments.
